Brand campaign introducing HubSpot's new tagline and corresponding INBOUND creative.
HubSpot had long been known as the SMB solution for companies who love marketing. But what happens when you expand to a full front end business solution with an upmarket shift to enterprise? We needed to reshape our brand narrative for a new era of inbound marketing, using INBOUND 2018 as our launching pad.
I was a part of the team that defined our new tagline, "Grow Better." Together we obsessed over the idea that growth doesn't have to be ruthless, selfish, or at the expense of the customers you serve. It's more than what you sell; it's whether those you sell to succeed.
To support the launch of the new tagline, I led the production of multiple videos released at HubSpot's INBOUND event. I developed the concepts, partnered with our copywriter and illustrator, and led the animation. We opened the product keynote with "How You Help HubSpot Grow Better," an animated video assuring our customers that we don't just read their feedback. We need it. As seen above, the video was formatted for an ultra-wide screen to open the talk.
We surrounded the tagline launch with a collection of display ads and OOH placements. Each brought to life the Grow Better mentality and our campaign graphic style.
